Warwick and I decided to use up some of our frequent flyer points to spend the Anzac Day long weekend in Perth, on the SW coast of Australia. We stayed on the edge of the Swan River within walking distance of the city and the Barrack St Jetty where the ferries leave for Fremantle and Rottnest island. Our favourite places were Kings park for its beautiful native gardens and great view of the city.....
...and Rottnest Island, for its bike riding and native quokka's, which are pretty friendly but can bite, as Warwick found out
